01. Our Zero-Tracking Philosophy
Unlike mainstream commercial websites, Broken Jaw Frames does not participate in surveillance capitalism. We believe fine art photography should be experienced in undisturbed contemplation, free from third-party tracking scripts, cross-site behavioral telemetry, or commercial pixel tags.
02. Functional Local Storage Disclosures
In strict compliance with the EU ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC) and global consumer privacy laws, we utilize only strictly necessary, client-side browser storage (localStorage) to enable functional interface preferences:
Key: bjf_theme
Purpose: Stores your chosen aesthetic visual mode (Darkroom Nocturne or Museum Alabaster).
Duration: Persistent until cleared.
Third-Party Access: None (strictly local).
Key: bjf_sound_muted
Purpose: Remembers your preference for the tactile Web Audio mechanical camera shutter actuation.
Duration: Persistent until cleared.
Third-Party Access: None (strictly local).
03. Session Telemetry & Ephemeral Tokens
When you authenticate into the VIP Client Proofing Vault, your session token is held solely in volatile session memory. It is destroyed upon closing the browser window. We do not store persistent tracking cookies on your workstation or mobile device.
04. Managing Your Storage Preferences
You hold complete control over your browser's local storage. You may inspect, clear, or block local storage keys at any time through your browser's Developer Tools or Privacy Settings:
- Google Chrome & Microsoft Edge: Settings → Privacy & Security → Site Settings → Cookies and Site Data.
- Apple Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
Clearing these keys will simply reset your theme to Darkroom Nocturne upon your next visit without affecting any functional artwork display.
